Spoiled

October 4, 2011

Yes, I am spoiled rotten!  A couple of weeks ago we got a package from my parents; there was some yarn in there for me, including these beautiful skeins of Kambgarn:

When I saw these I gasped, seriously, the color is just so beautiful.  I instantly fell in love with it, and I already have an idea of what I want to do with it…..

That’s not all!  Today I got a package from a knitting friend from Iceland.  She hand dyes yarn with plants and berries and other wonderful things from nature.  She sent me some skeins of Kambgarn, it’s such an incredible color, golden-brownish…..just plain gorgeous!

And the scent: Delicious!  I have been sitting  here all evening with one skein wrapped around my neck.   And apparently the scent can stay with the yarn for years to come…….I hope it does!

I did not include pictures, by the time I had time to snap some it had become too dark.  But next time, until then, check out her blog:
