Chai cupcakes

May 19, 2011

I don´t drink coffee and I´m picky when it comes to tea.  I do love hot Chai-tea though and the other day when I had a taste for some but didn´t have any on hand I made these chai muffins/cupcakes instead (my oven is back to work!!!).

I used coconut oil and agave nectar rather than sugar and butter for the cakes, and  I mixed some chai seasoning and added to the batter….mmmmmmmmm.

For the frosting I used cream-cheese, a little bit of butter, some powdered sugar and some ground clover and vanilla extract.  It turned out really yummy.   I am definitely making these again.

I don’t drink coffee either but (strangely) I do like things with coffee flavor (icecream, cakes and so).

Hvernig er að þvo svona sílíkon-form? er það vesen?

    • June 8, 2011 11:30 am

Nei mér finnst það ekkert svo mikið vesen. Ég á bara svona lítil möffin form, ég hef sett þau í efri hlutann á uppþvottavélinni, þarf þá að troða þeim á milli glasa svo þau detti ekki niður. Annars bara sný ég þeim á rönguna og handþvæ þau. Væri til í einhverja körfu eða eitthvað þesslags sem ég get skelt þeim í og sett þannig í vélina………..ætti að ath hvort eitthvað þannig sé til, væri mjög svo hentugt!
